Visa Information

ALL DELEGATES will need a visa to enter Russia and as this may take up to 2 weeks or more want to give you enough time to research the specific visa requirements in your country.

 

Please make sure you understand requirements for visa application from your own country – the information below will give you a general idea but is based on UK advice.

 

AIM TOURISM VISA

This visa covers both tourist and conference activities.  The maximum length of stay is 30 days.

You will need an AIM Tourism voucher from an approved tour company

You can use a company in your own country to assist you with this.

Alternatively, the company below have offered to assist with providing the appropriate voucher(they have been used by members before).

The fee charged by them for providing this letter of invitation is £45 and will be payable directly to BAT Visas Ltd by bacs or by credit card

 

The relevant Application Form is attached and you need to provide a scan of your passport

 

Once you have the above voucher:

You will need to apply online for the visa from your country and then attend your nearest Russian consulate/embassy with the completed forms, photos and appropriate documentation to supply your fingerprints.

The visa will then be issued.  Please note you will not be able to enter the country before or leave after the dates on the visa.

 

Note: those of you attending from the following countries will need to complete a different application process but Pat and Mike above will be able to assist and guide you through the process:  Botswana, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Palestine, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda

 

BUSINESS VISA

Business visas are issued for business trips.

Their types depend on the period of stay and number of entrances:

  • Single entry visa for one month/ three months;
  • Double entry visa for one month/ three months;
  • Multi-entry visa for three months/ six months/ twelve months.

A single entry visa for one month/ three months is most appropriate but may take longer to process.

Before starting the process please check a list of documents required for the visa, however most probably you will need a letter of invitation from our host member Sirota & Partners

In order to get a letter of invitation you will need to send a) a scan of the passport, b) name of the company, c) type of visa (single/double/multi-entry for ___ months),  d) period for staying in Russia, e) Russian consulate, where the documents for visa will be submitted (city, country), f) place of residence (city, country) to the following email:  veronika.slivka@sirotapartners.com  and anastasia.shatova@sirotapartners.com

Once you have the above invitation letter:

You will need to apply online for the visa from your country and then attend your nearest Russian consulate/embassy with the completed forms, photos and appropriate documentation to supply your fingerprints.

The visa will then be issued.  Please note you will not be able to enter the country before or leave after the dates on the visa.

 

TOURIST VISA

This visa covers only tourist activities. 

You will need a hotel voucher from the hotel(s) where you are staying

Ritz Carlton can provide with this visa voucher to every guest that books a room in Ritz Carlton but only for a number of days you spend in Ritz Carlton – so the visa will be opened for these days only.  In order to get a visa voucher from Ritz Carlton please send a scan of your passport to the following e-mail Ksenia.Ermakova@ritzcarlton.com once you have booked your accommodation.

Once you have the above voucher:

You will need to apply online for the visa from your country and then attend your nearest Russian consulate/embassy with the completed forms, photos and appropriate documentation to supply your fingerprints.

The visa will then be issued.  Please note you will not be able to enter the country before or leave after the dates on the visa.

 

IMPORTANT: when entering Russia it is very important to a) keep the migration card (issued in the airport in Russia) and b) make and keep a migration registration (migration registration will be made by Ritz Carlton) as you will need it for your departure.
